
2023 CSA Subscription Agreement.
We at Freshlee Farms LLC want to grow fresh, local, and seasonal food for you, the subscriber, who wants to receive a portion of our harvest. This agreement outlines our shared commitments to that relationship.
Becoming a subscriber of Freshlee Farms LLC.
“CSA” stands for “community supported agriculture” though this definition is quite broad. Each CSA looks a little bit different. Freshlee Farms 2023 CSA will run from March 1st through November 1st, 2023. The 2023 CSA will be partnered with a local business; Pumphery & Beard Coffee Co. as well as a multi-farm CSA with The Sosa Farm.
Subscribers are responsible for picking up shares at the designated pick-up sites each week or every other week.

We are passionate about soil health, land preservation and food that we share from our family to yours. We follow permaculture using no-till organic gardening and farming methods as we continue our efforts in becoming a biodynamic small family farm. We are not USDA-certified organic.
Products that we expect for 2023 are based on weather, potential pests, and other events that may affect actual production.
Expected crops from March to April might include the following: veggie varieties— kale, spinach, arugula, radish, lettuces, carrots, swiss chard, bunching onion, leeks, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, peas, tomato, beet & beet green, turnips & turnip greens; herb varieties—sage, dill, thyme, oregano, lemon balm, Chinese chives, cilantro, chocolate mint, parsley, echinacea, rosemary, lavender, chamomile; microgreen varieties—salad mix, mustard, pea, radish; flower varieties— echinacea, daisy, nasturtium, lavender, blue boy, Rasberry Daquiri flower, ; farm fresh eggs—chicken, duck
Expected crops from May to August might include the following: veggie & fruit varieties— tomato, cucumber, zucchini, squash, beans, bunching onion, strawberries, boysenberries, lettuces, kale, swiss chard, radish, carrots, arugula, peppers, beets & beet greens, bitter melon, okra, pepers; herb varieties—dill, basil varieties—lemon, lime and mommolo, parsley, chocolate mint, rosemary, echinacea, lavender, chives, cilantro, thyme, oregano, yarrow, chamomile; microgreen varieties—salad mix, mustard, pea, radish; flower varieties—cosmos, tansy, snap dragon, blue boy, sunflower; farm fresh eggs—chicken, duck
Expected crops from September to November might include the following: veggies & fruits; arugula, beet & beet greens, peas, cucumber, long island cheese pumpkin, Jarrahdale squash, Honey Boat Delicata squash, butternut squash, bunching onion, leeks, broccoli, cauliflower, swiss chard, letttuces, kale, dishcloth luffa gourd; herb varieties—dill, cilantro, oregano, thyme, Chinese chives, rosemary, chocolate mint, parsley, lavender; microgreen varieties— mix, mustard, pea, radish; flower varieties—tansy, zinnia, blue boy; farm fresh eggs—chicken, duck
We wash all produce (except herbs and microgreens) before packing shares. We at Freshlee Farms always suggest washing before eating.
Generally, smaller shares are to start the beginning of the season increasing peaks in the summer decreasing again in December. However, our microgreens are grown consistently year round in an indoor environment.
Shared commitments
Sharing the risk of crop failure: We at Freshlee Farms promise to do our very best in crop production.
Sharing in reward of crop surplus. Should we at Freshlee Farms harvest a grand bounty of any crop you will receive the surplus in reward.
Picking up shares
You are responsible for picking up shares at the time and site.
Pickup Site Rules:
If you cannot pickup, then you will need to arrange for someone else to pick up for you. If your share is not picked up, your share will become a donation to a local food organization.
Subscription Fees
March through November: basket shares
One-time-only subscription fee $50
36 weeks: Full Share $ 2106 (save $234)
19 weeks: Half Share $1111 (save $123.50)
10 weeks: Spring Share $618 (save $32.50)
17 weeks: Summer Share $1050 (save $55.25)
11 weeks: Fall Share $679 (save $35.75)
March through November: microgreens subscriptions
Full Share Microgreens $1440 (save $144)
Half Share Microgreens $342 (save $34.20)
All payments are non-refundable.
Basket Return
To receive your weekly or every other week basket, you must bring your empty basket in exchange.
Subscription Break
Should you need to pause your subscription for any reason, you must provide a notice of at least ten days prior to the pick up date by sending an email to hello@freshleefarms.com.
If you cannot pick up your share, then you will need to arrange for someone else to pick it up for you. If your share is not picked up, then your share will become a donation to a local food organization.
